0xProject v2 Launches Marking A Huge Milestone For The Community

The 0xProject, an open protocol for decentralized exchange of Ethereum token, has launched 0x v2.

The twitter user, Spencer Noon, decided to share his opinion on the matter, explaining that everything is going to be tokenized, from money to securities including digital goods and gaming items.

Since virtual currencies appeared, blockchain technology has been growing as a tool for developers and companies to improve the services and products they offer.

Moreover, he says that the meaning of the word ‘exchange’ is completely changing. Due to the latest developments that are taking place in the space, this process is changing. Now, ‘exchange’ is not anymore a financial term, indeed, it is expanding in many different other fields.

Because of this, 0x v2 is working in order to become an important General Purpose Platform for users and people to interact with it.

About it he wrote:

“0x v2 sets the table for it to become not only one of the most important protocols in Open Finance, but also a General Purpose Platform that millions of people interact with on a daily basis, most never knowing it.”

He later mentions an example that is now taking place with Augur relayers and NFT marketplaces. They are challenging the current initial conceptions about what it means to be a decentralized exchange.

For Spencer Noon, this is just the beginning and the future may bring new other interesting projects tokenizing other goods or services.
