38 dApps Were Added To Tron’s Blockchain, Total Near 300 Now Says Weekly Report

The number of decentralized applications (dApps) in the Tron (TRX) network continues growing. According to a recently released report by the Tron Foundation, 38 new dApps were added to the Tron ecosystem. In this way, the number of dApps reached 2.45 million.

Tron Releases DApp Report

As per the recent report released by the Tron Foundation, Tron’s dApp DAUs (daily active users) have also stayed steadily close to 30,000 in the last weeks. The Tron Foundation has also informed that some dApp developers are focusing on gameplay and strategy of dApps. The intention is to be able to generate innovative content in these areas.

They also informed that many more complex decentralized application games have been put on the development agenda. It is worth mentioning that the cool-off of gambling games has caused a dip in the DAUs of decentralized applications.

One of the decentralized applications that they have introduced this week is known as Blocklords. This dApp is a game based on blockchain technology that allows users to be involved in a medieval war strategy adventure. The game received a grand prize in the TRON Accelerator competition.

Players’ objects and items are stored on the TRON network and it allows gamers to live the territory expansion of the European Continent in medieval times. Users can conquer fortresses and gain lost equipment. Every single time that 800 blocks are generated in the network, a rare gear will be generated and airdropped to users that conquer a fortress.

Users will also have the possibility to receive a 10% tax from each transaction that is made in a specific city if they control it.

The second dApp mentioned in Tron’s report is called MyWish, which has been released on Ethereum (ETH) back in 2017. MyWish allows individuals to build and deploy their own smart contracts on the Tron platform.

The Tron Foundation has also launched its weekly report a few days ago in which they informed that they were testing IPFS integration with dApps.

At the time of writing this article, Tron is the 11th largest digital asset in the market. It has a market capitalization of $1.77 billion and each TRX can be purchased for $0.026579.
