Abra Crypto Wallet Adds Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Deposits and Withdrawals Despite Fork Split

Abra Wallet Opens Its Doors Amidst Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Split Dispute

Have you ever used the Abra wallet? In case you are a Bitcoin Cash (BCH), you will definitely go back to use it if you liked the experience. As of today, the Abra crypto wallet, which already supports 28 cryptos, has also started to support the 4th largest crypto by market cap: Bitcoin Cash.

You can now start to store BCH in your Abra wallet, from which you can withdraw whenever you want to. You will also have a new option to fund your Abra wallet using BCH, too. The announcement happened on Twiter. The company has affirmed that it was pleased to announce this new option.

BCH Adoption Amidst Split Crisis

As you may have heard, Bitcoin Cash is facing tough times. There has been an increasingly important divide among the members of the community about what the future of the token should be and this has caused a lot of internal fighting.

The discussion is centered among important figures like Jihan Wu, founder of the mining giant Bitmain, a businessman called Calvin Ayre, the CEO of Bitcoin.com, Roger Ver and Craig Wright, which is the chief scientist of nChain.

Roger Ver and Jihan Wu want to use their Wormhole protocol while Craig Wright and Calvin Ayre defend the nChain implementation of BCH, Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (SV). Unless there is a consensus soon on how to solve the situation, a new hard fork may happen.

Some other people like Jimmy Song, a developer from the Bitcoin core community, argue that BCH is too centralized and that this may be its main drawback, especially when you consider how Bitmain is strong in the market.

Crypto Investors Share Enthusiasm For The New Feature

Some people on social media commented on the launch of this new feature. LitecoinMonkey, a LTC enthusiast, it seems, approved the attitude and stated that this is a win win because it is a good way for Abra to make some people off the Bitmain and Roger Ver “coin dumps” as Abra will make fees.

Another investor was extremely disappointed with Abra’s decision to adopt BCH and said that he wanted to cancel his account. According to him, he will add more funds to the wallet.
