XYO Network Launches a Beta Version of XYO Network App For Developers and dApp Creators
In a bid to enable dApp creators and developers to leverage on fully decentralized Geolocation network, XYO has release a beta version of XYO Network App for Android. The app will allow devices such as tablets and smartphones to function as Sentinels and Bridges, XYO Network’s end-to-end testnet iteration.
XYO Network, a firm created to help bridge the blockchain sector and the real world, has been working on this new app for a while now, and hopes that it will be a great invention in their network. Speaking about it, the Head of Consumer Products at the company said that:
“We’ve been beta testing the XYO Network app internally for some weeks, and now it’s time to share it with our community for their input…Our goal with the public beta is largely to test the accuracy of our assumptions, projections and algorithms at scale, before we take the Mainnet live. It will also give us the opportunity to see how the four individual components of the Network perform with an active user base. We eagerly look forward to the always-valuable feedback from our community.”
Public Participation Now Open on Android-Enabled Devices
According the XYO Network, the app is already available for download on Google Play, and anyone can join in and participate in beta testing. Instead of rewarding participants with XYO tokens, those willing to participate will be allowed to contribute to the final development.
XYO Network also made users aware that, while the app provides an option for XY4+ firmware update, it will not be compatible with user’s XY4+ at the time of beta testing. Those that discover any technical issue are also requested to inform the XYO team directly on Gitter.
