After Pornhub Deal, Verge Cryptocurrency Goes After Spotify Payment Option

Verge Wants Everything – First MindGeek, Now Spotify

One of the most known virtual currencies in the market, Verge (XVG), seems that it wants to go for everything. After partnering with MindGeek, an important company that owns PornHub and Brazzers, now the cryptocurrency wants to be added as a payment option on Spotify.

One of the several volunteers at Verge virtual currency, Dan, has written a tweet in which he asks the Verge community to vote for Verge to be accepted at Spotify.

In a post, Dan, commented:

“We are extremely excited to announce that we have recently partnered with MindGeek, a privately held company that owns and operates over 85% of all the adult entertainment industries websites and applications. As we have seen with past events in history, what the adult entertainment adopts – The world adopts.”

At the moment of writing, Dan received 2,827 votes for his idea to add Verge as a payment option to Spotify. At the same time, several Spotify users commented that they would be really happy to pay for Spotify’s services with XVG.

Spotify is also involved in the crypto market. It has acquired a start-up called Mediachain that pays the right people for every track that is played on its platform.

Charlie Lee, Litecoin’s creator commented about Verge and the partnership with MindGeek, he said that the arrangement would not add anything good to the crypto space. He said that it would also be important other big virtual currencies to be included in MindGeeks’ platforms.

At the moment, Verge (XVG) is the 26th cryptocurrency by market capitalization and each Verge coin can be bought for $0.08 US Dollars.
