On the 12th of May 2019, Bitcoin (BTC) recorded a 24 hour trading volume of way over $30 billion. The last time the 24hr trading volume of BTC was this high was back in January 2018, when the price of BTC was over $10,000.

Crypto Exchange Fudging

However, reports state that some cryptocurrency exchange platforms have been accused of bombarding their exchanges with large volumes of crypto transactions to inflate the assets values. With this, the current BTC price might surpass that of 2018.
