Aion Blockchain System and Blockdaemon to Help Facilitate Simple Node Development

Aion is a multitier blockchain system that has been designed to address interoperability, privacy, and scalability issues. On Tuesday, October 2nd, 2018, the platform announced that it was entering into a partnership agreement with Blockdaemon. Blockdaemon is a renowned deployment facility for blockchain-based applications.

The partnership agreement between the two parties is expected to see the Aion community being provided with quick and simplified access to a node-hosting infrastructure widely known for its strength and scalability.

What this means for the platform users is that when they want to send AION coins, build dApp tool or corresponding tools, and deploy smart contracts, they will need to use a Blockdaemon node. The node will facilitate seamless onboarding. It will also help ensure that there is a quick onramp process.

The combination of these two processes will mean that the process of launching an Aion node will be very fast. While announcing the formation of this new partnership, Aion also stated that it would be providing users with a sixty-day free introductory trial. The trial period will be used to launch all types of nodes.

At the end of the trial period, platform users will need to choose between the three available packages.

Packages Available

The Explorer packages start at $14.99 per node per month. This is considered the easiest and fastest way for one to deploy nodes on to existing networks. Its features include:

  • Basic monitoring
  • Access to ETH and BTC nodes
  • Knowledgeable access
  • Fast deployment

It goes for 249.99 dollars per node per month. This is the leading network orchestration for all blockchains. Its features include:

  • All features available in the Explorer package
  • Custom branded experiences
  • Participation in testnet and public networks
  • Priority customer support
  • Join and launch private networks
  • Own a full Stellar or Ethereum node

Designed for those planning to launch an ICO or creating their own private networks. Its features include:

  • All Ecosystem features
  • No need to retain the developers
  • Authenticate via JWT and SSO
  • Consensus and security pre-configured
  • Premium customer support via email and phone

Blockdaemon currently provides an out of the box hosted node service that can be used to quickly spin the requirements of your infrastructure. By working together, Blockdaemon and Aion have been able to provide a service that will lead to the quick deployment of Aion nodes on both the testnet and mainnet platforms.

Blockdaemon exists to empower businesses like Aion. It does this by making it easier for them to quickly iterate and deploy their blockchain-based applications. It also provides a multi-geo network and multi-cloud management system that can be used to deploy nodes, as well as connect them to a broad range of blockchain technologies within seconds.

What Heroku has been able to do for the cloud is what Blockdaemon is trying to do for blockchain-based networks. This includes the supervision, management, and deployment of nodes. It does all this without paying much attention to the underlying configurations.

With Blockdaemon, you get to save on time that would have been spent on ops and development, by utilizing its smart contracts and simplified launching system. The smart default configurations that have been put in place by Blockdaemon will help you get started as soon as possible. In addition, you also get to receive advice on the blockchain development ecosystem.
