Since the start of 2019, the number of crypto ATMs already installed around the world has increased by close to 50 percent. Statistics indicate that the numbers have already surpassed the 6,000 mark, with new installations being carried out each day.
Currently, the US is leading the pack with more than 4,000 ATMs. Canada comes in a close second, followed by the UK in the third position. There are various producers that are today providing a broad array of ATMs for entrepreneurs that would like to get into this kind of business.
6,007 ATMs Already Installed Around the World
The last few years have seen the number of crypto ATMs continue to increase at a steady pace. According to statistics released by Coinatmradar:
“As of Nov. 25, there are currently 6,007 crypto ATMs located in 75 countries, which is 46% more than the 4,113 machines reported by the site on Jan. 1.”
Additionally, the website goes ahead to list 148,823 allied services that make it possible for crypto enthusiasts to purchase and offload their existing crypto assets. These services include crypto kiosks, bank ATMs, retail chains, and mobile payment terminals.
Bitquick currently tops this list with a total of 106,649 locations and is followed closely by Bitnovo Teller that has 8,809 locations. Bitnovo Teller was formerly owned by a Boost VC Company.
It’s a firm known to operate a p2p trading platform that was introduced to the general public in August 2013. It would then, later on, be acquired by Athena Bitcoin.

Today, there are 42 companies manufacturing crypto ATMs and a total of 563 operators. Genesis Coin and General Bytes are the top two manufacturers and have managed to produce close to 60% percent of all the ATMs in use today.
