Amazon’s Successfully Integrates AWS Cloud Support for its Managed Blockchain Platform

  • Amazon’s new integrated service platform will allow users to create their very own blockchain networks with relative ease.
  • The system will reportedly help in integrating a client’s AWS accounts (that are located across the cloud) onto a unified blockchain platform.

As per a statement issued by retail giant Amazon earlier today, AWS (Amazon Web Services) has been successful in integrating a cloud storage module with its existing blockchain platform. For those of our readers who may not be aware, the multinational will be making use of CloudFormation to support its blockchain management system.

It is being said that the new service will provide users with assistance in regards to the creation and configuring of networks, members, and peer nodes. Additionally, it also bears mentioning that clients of AWS can make use of CloudFormation (CF) for free.

In its most basic sense, CF serves as a replication/scaling tool between a client’s web service applications (thereby making it much more simple to share info between various AWS use cases.)

A quick glance at the above linked statement shows us that through the use of this new framework, users will be able to create novel blockchain networks as well as define network configurations with relative ease. Not only that, users will also have the ability to facilitate things like:

  • Devise or join an existing network.
  • Describe member and network details such as voting policies

Last but not least, we need to highlight that when Amazon released its blockchain platform over three months ago, the firm boasted of a number of big-name clients including AT&T, Nestle and Accenture.
