Andreas Antonopoulos Announced New Bitcoin Book ‘Mastering Lightning Network’

The crypto expert Andreas Antonopoulos has recently announced a new book that will be focused on the Bitcoin Lightning Network. The new book will be called Mastering Lightning Network and will also be authored by two other people, René Pickhardt and Olaoluwa Osuntokun, the CTO of Lightning Labs.

The trio has recently announced that writing is set to start next month and that it will take around a year before the product is finally released. They also affirmed that they hope that everybody in the community will help with contributions to the book.

According to Pickhardt, the main reason to launch the book is to educate the crypto community. He believes that there is a huge lack of material concerning the education of people regarding cryptos and, more specifically, about the Lightning Network, which is a very hot topic right now.

Antonopoulos reached out to Pickhardt with the idea and they decided to move forward with it. The new book will be focused on newcomers who do not understand the market so well yet. The idea is to explain how to properly set up LN nodes and then run them.

The new book is set to be completely “open source”. Anyone can read it for free and the whole work will be paid with spontaneous contributions. They defend this idea because it will help the community and because they believe that cryptos can be used to fix issues with financial inclusion and intermediaries.

Antonopoulos is known for his work with three highly acclaimed crypto books. Its main book was “Mastering Bitcoin”, but he also wrote “Mastering Ethereum” and “The Internet of Money”.
