Apex Clearing To Launch Apex Crypto Service For Digital Asset Investor Access
It has been announced by Apex Clearing, a digital wealth management provider, that it will unveil a new cryptocurrency technology that will give room to broker-dealers and many other online investment platforms that are affiliated with the firm to offer their investors access to digital currencies and brokerage assets.
The newly unveiled idea will come under Apex Crypto, a separate platform expected to be accessible around the fourth quarter of the year. Clients will be able to open their investors to myriads of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, and Litecoin, among others altcoins. As the firm grows, it promises to add more currencies.
Bill Capuzzi, the CEO of Apex who commented on the new addition said the high demand for cryptocurrency has surged in recent time, adding that through the innovation, Apex will meet the demand of its investors who are tech savvy.
“We are helping our clients break down barriers to provide the speed, efficiency and flexibility they need to serve the next generation of investors.”
Through the Cryptocurrency idea, Apex’s investors will have opportunity to market and quotes data based on a decentralized pricing from their digital currency holdings.
Owing to legal and regulatory procedures, Apex says it will differentiate traditional assets from the digital currencies. Doing this will not complicate account opening with the crypto platform.
This announcement is not surprising, cryptocurrency is on the verge of pushing fiat currencies out of people’s sight and this has made big firms go into cryptocurrency to seek succor.
Beyond firms, many countries are now looking up to cryptocurrencies to solve the problems emanating from volatility in their fiat currencies.
The aim of Apex Crypto is to streamline the investment procedures for fiats and digital currencies. However, the procedures to invest in both cryptos and brokerage assets have been unconnected.
