Apex Legends New Game Names Leaked and One Character’s is Called ‘Crypto’ with a Hacker Skill
Apex Legends is a free-to-play battle royale game developed by Respawn Entertainment and published by Electronic Arts. Set in the same universe as Titanfall, the game was released for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 4, 2019.
Apex Legends differentiates itself from other battle royale games by borrowing concepts of the hero shooter, with each player-character Legend having unique skills and abilities, and principally requiring players to work in squads of three, with the ability to respawn downed squadmates.
Ever since the game's surprise launch, the development team has been relatively quick with responding to feedback and even implementing changes based on what players have had to say. That said, the studio also has quite a bit in the works, some of which has been leaked.
Here’s the full list:
Although not much has been officially known about the character, it is speculated that it will be like Sombra of Overwatch. In the game's narrative, she is an exceptional black bag operation hacker from Mexico that had joined Talon, a criminal organization aligned against Overwatch.
Crypto is slowly becoming a household name gaining popularity as days pass. Recently, BitcoinExchangeGuide had reported a story about Blockchain being the most overrated word of 2018. In the same list, “crypto” was number 4. There are other multiple reports that depict a similar trend.
Earlier this month, a study by Themetafriend showed that there are at least 36 countries globally that have at least 1% of their population as Bitcoin users. To do the study they estimated a ratio between a number of nodes in the country and scaled it across the globe. This ratio gives an approximate idea of Bitcoin users worldwide.
It is obvious that the gaming industry stays ahead of the technological curve. We can not only see the integration of cryptocurrencies in the popular culture around it (like the example of Apex Legends) but also into the technology of the game itself for revolutionizing features like microtransaction.
