Argent Decentralized Banking Protocol On The Ethereum Blockchain

Argent Labs Limited, an organization that is lead by experienced entrepreneur and funded by some of the best VCs in London. Their mission is to give users access to a new decentralized web. They wish to leverage blockchain technology to lead to global transparent and accessible financial and consumer services.

They are creating a decentralized banking protocol on the Ethereum blockchain, which gives users a platform to manage their assets and interact with a new token economy. A cryptocurrency infrastructure that is intuitive and easy to use has not been available. This is the reason why a new protocol for cryptocurrency storage and transfer that caters to the demands of the new entrants in the cryptosphere will prove to be a much-needed addition to the ecosystem.

KR1 participated in the seed funding round for Argent Labs Limited, backing the project with GBP 150,000. KR1, formerly known as Kryptonite 1, is a publicly listed investment company that focuses on emerging blockchain businesses. The company has an impressive portfolio of investments in companies like Augur, Ethereum, Golem, Enigma, Rocketpool, Simple Token, Elastos and so on. They have recently invested in projects like Herdius Project, Nexus Mutual along with Argent to diversify their portfolio.

Decentralised banks are absolutely essential as we don’t need to rely on a central power to stay honest, we can’t deal with others without going through a centralized system and we don’t need to worry about centralized intervention. Companies like Argent is an absolute necessity that the world needs right now.
