Du Yuzhou has been designed to meet the needs of a gamer, while educating users at the same time. In terms of the game, it requires users to generate planets with air-dropped elements, which symbolizes the way in which blockchain rewards its users. The educational aspects of this game include acquiring knowledge on all matters blockchain, especially its functionality.
While it has been revealed that the game will launch next week, further details regarding the game itself is yet to be disclosed.
The only statement that the company released is,
“Du Yuzhou is not to launch another cryptocurrency, but a digital society experiment.”
As for their endeavors regarding energy consumption for mining, the Chief Scientist at Baidu believes that Super Chain’s ability to “remove consensus mechanisms” is what will solve the problem at hand. He also stated that Super Chain will still be “compatible with the development system of Bitcoin and Ethereum.”
