According to the official post on LinkedIn, the financial giant may have found a suitable product manager to lead the team on the “development of cross-boarder payments marketed to GTS clients.” The position requires the development of new products and management of the Ripple based products that enable instant transfer of value across the globe.

The LinkedIn post further stated,

“The incumbent will be responsible for driving product strategy and growth, overseeing daily product management routines, and overseeing the development of new initiatives that result in an innovative and highly-competitive product offering.“

BoA Invests in Blockchain

The decentralized ledger technologies lowers costs for the bank, transfer times and enhance the security of the platforms hence the huge investment in the industry. Earlier in the year, the bank announced a patent application for a “multi-tiered digital wallet security” solution that features Ripple technology solutions.

In September, BEG reported the bank joined the Marco Polo consortium, a group of companies developing R3 Corda, an enterprise blockchain solution. The partnership aims at developing solutions that enhance efficiency in domestic and international trades and transfers.
