More About Centbee
The wallet was launched this year in the alpha version until the recent release of the beta version. It has a global reach. The app is simple, and it is designed to make it easy to acquire, use, store, and spend BCH at various retail stores. This app is currently being funded by the nChain Research Ltd. This company is part of the larger nChain Group, which is a major investor in the advanced blockchain technology sector.
Centbee is based in South Africa; it was created by co-CEOS of the company Lorien Gamaroff and Angus Brown. Both of these inventors are leading experts in the crypto world and blockchain technology field.
The CEOS have worked as lead consultant advisors for different regulators and international companies. They are highly regarded as being some of the best people in this field. They are also educators. They have over two decades experience in the payment operations and banking sector. Besides that, one of them was the CEO of eBucks, which was amongst the first bank-backed virtual currencies, created in 2010.
The company plans to make improvements to the wallet. This will make it possible for merchants to accept BCH as payment at a reduced cost. Additionally, they will continue to improve security and privacy compared to the traditional payments system.
Furthermore, they want to help users transfer money to each other with less cost. They hope that it will be possible to do this internationally to family and friends. Apparently, they have been cooperating with regulators in South Africa and other jurisdictions to address the issues of risks that may arise from using this wallet.
Centbee will also get financial investment from nChain to help them conduct deep research for any intellectual property. nChain will ensure that this project has more privacy, trust, and security for users of the BCH tokens. However, there have not been any announcements on whether any other type of coin could be introduced in the near or far future.
This project has already attracted a lot of support in the crypto world. They have also been able to keep up with their roadmap and have not experienced any hiccups thus far. It could play an important in helping to bring crypto to the masses.
