Calvin Ayre Invests In Kronoverse Corp.
In an announcement on Wednesday this week on the Calvinayre.com website, the billionaire’s team confirmed a partnership with Kronoverse Corp. The blockchain based gaming company is the developer behind the CryptoFights 3D 1v1 fighting game, a game following real economics rules and records stored on the BSV blockchain.
The lead investment from Calvin is set to provide funds for the development and improvement of the in-game effects. The report further expects CryptoFights 3D to employ extensive economics in the game to allow gamers to use crypto tokens to make purchases and trades on the platform.
“You can wager on battles, you can earn items to become more powerful, sell or trade those items, replay past battles, and much more coming soon.”
We reached out to Kronoverse CEO Adam Kling to ask some questions about what this means for the future of his company. He said the project and investment form Calvin will allow Kronoverse Corp. to create a platform that will allow the development of “incredible eSport features in [the] game”. Kling believes that the platform is able to combine various segments of the eSports market to create a secure and all-inclusive ecosystem for gamers. He further said,
“Things such as advertising, wagering, and universal marketplaces can facilitate new economies around games that are not solely controlled by any one developer.”
The BSV blockchain provides scalability and low transaction costs for developers and gamers on the platform. The main development team of the BSV blockchain, nChain, will also partner with Kronoverse to see the development of multiple games on the blockchain.
The investment from Calvin is set to push the blockchain based gaming platform to greater heights with more efficient and user-friendly games being developed.
