Binance Completes TRX & ICX Mainnet Swap, Augur Token Contract Address Updated

TRON (TRX) & ICON (ICX) Mainnet Complete and Augur (REP) Deposits & Withdrawals Opened

There are two main types of people that get into cryptocurrencies; one side that wants to see the technology succeed and make money while the other is just there to make a profit. Most users probably have no idea what a “Mainnet Swap” is or how to deal with it. Most crypto holders would flock to social media sites to figure out what they are supposed to do. Many Exchanges stepped in to offer an easier solution. They will handle the swap as long as you keep your tokens on their network.

TRON (TRX) Mainnet Swap

Almost one month ago today, Binance said they would be suspending TRON (TRX) withdrawals on June 24th in order to complete the swap from an Ethereum based token to Tron's Mainnet. But the exchange has been in a holding pattern ever since they suspending the withdrawals to make sure the network was stable.

The moment Tron (TRX) holders have been waiting for has finally arrived with the announcement from Crypto Exchange Binance completing the Mainnet swap of the TRX token. All TRX holders are now able to withdrawal their tokens to other exchanges or their own wallets.

ICON (ICX) Mainnet Swap

In similar fashion, ICON (ICX) holders have also been waiting since June 20th when Binance suspended deposits and withdrawals so that they could handle all of the technical aspects of exchanging the Ethereum based token to the ICON's Mainnet.

They have now received the word from ICON that their new blockchain network is stable and that they can allow users to deposit and withdrawal the new mainnet tokens.

Augur (REP) Token Contract Address Updated

There was a third announcement from Binance overnight. The Augur team has successfully migrated their REP tokens to a new Ethereum main network contract address. Binance has updated the contract address within their system and they have opened deposits and withdrawals for the token.

According to Augur (REP) there was a total of 56,338 unique accounts that held tokens at the time of the snapshot. The new contract address is: 0x1985365e9f78359a9B6AD760e32412f4a445E862 while you can find the old address that is now frozen here.

If you are holding your REP tokens in a wallet, they should be handling the update for you in the next day or two. But you may need to reach out to a support team if they are not. Augur wants its coin holders to know that transactions on the new Ethereum contract address may cost more gas in order to transfer tokens due to additional logging.
