Binance Exchange Announces Mithril (MITH Token) Listing with BTC and BNB Trading Pairs

Mithril (MITH) just became the latest coin to be listed on Binance. The exchange will open trading for MITH/BTC and MITH/BNB trading pairs at 2018/11/15 2:00 PM (UTC).

The Mithril team will donate a 20,000 BNB equivalent amount to the Blockchain Charity Foundation in appreciation for this listing.

Mithril is a cryptocurrency token that represents a new kind of decentralized social media, based on the blockchain, that will pay its users for creating content. User privacy is a hot button right now and user payments could and arguably should be the next stage of social media. Mithril has viable blockchain technology that could be in the right place at the right time. It uses the Ethereum blockchain to create an app ecosystem that rewards social content creators and curators with MITH tokens for participating.

Binance also released their in-depth research of MITH.

The key takeaways from the research were:

  • They raised $51.6MM (60,000 ETH) in private sale in Feb 2018, selling 30% of total supply.
  • Accumulated more than 154,000 downloads & 7,800 DAUs on the Lit social network app since launch in the second quarter of 2018.
  • Mithril Vault, a software wallet that allows users to store, stake, spend, and exchange MITH tokens, was released in June 2018 and has roughly 6,400 users and 1,300+ DAUs
  • Announced a strategic partnership on 8/7/2018 with M17 Entertainment, a global media company with over 40 million users and a large network of content creators

Binance Research is the recently launched wing of the company which is centered around institutional grade research.
