Binance May Earn $1 Billion in Profits, But $1 Million West Japan Disaster Relief Donation is in Order

Two million people in southwestern Japan have had to flee their homes on July 7th, 2018, due to the heavy rains that have caused extensive flooding. Reports within the last few hours indicate that 41 people have been found dead, with 51 others injured and 36 people that are not accounted for at all. Hundreds of families have no home and nowhere to go, due to the collapsing and natural destruction of their homes. In an effort to provide relief to the victims, Binance has called for help.

In a recent post on Binance’s official website, they urged people around the world to join in their effort to donate $1,000,000 to their relief fund. Anyone can submit a donation, whether anonymous or named. Donations are accepted in the form of Ethereum or ERC20 tokens. Either type of donation will need to be sent to this address from their wallet: 0xA73d9021f67931563fDfe3E8f66261086319a1FC.

If the individual wants their name to be included in the donation, they need to send an email to [email protected] with their name, amount of the donation, and originating address. They will also need to provide the transaction ID in the email, if they have already sent the funds.

All of the donations accepted for this effort will only be used for charity purposes, according to the post on Binance’s site.
