Binance to Focus on Growing Blockchain & Crypto Jobs In Africa
Africa Will Soon Seen the Benefits of Binance Throughout the Continent
Binance’s CEO, Mr. ChangPeng Zhao, recently attended the African Blockchain Conference this year, which was in Kampala, Uganda on May 23rd to 24th. Their goal was to establish to potential consumers how blockchain can be integrated and how it could benefit the area after it is established. Its technology is presently still expanding in Africa, but Mr. Zhao announced that Binance would soon be increasing their activity and focus in the whole of Africa. President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda made his voice heard on this topic, explaining his view of how blockchain can help their economy and their citizens.
Kwame Rugunda, who is the Chairman of the Blockchain Association of Uganda, made a statement at the conference to describe how the blockchain would be integrated and used. “The conference will concrete mainly on how we can create an ecosystem based on blockchain and this would be an opportunity to position ourselves to be a vital park of global talks based on blockchain technology. Improved transparency and accountability in our governments and enterprises are one of the few benefits of including blockchain technology. These are the key factors in catapulting the economic growth of Uganda and making it an investment destination.”
Mr. Zhao expressed how Binance wants to contribute to the Uganda efforts with blockchain but does not want to stop there. He also wants to add Kenya and the rest of the country to their platform, which he expressed in the following statement: “Uganda is a very good point to start, but we want to expand across the whole of Africa. They don’t just want to limit themselves by creating a local community in Uganda.” Later in his discussion, he also said, “We have tremendous interest in working with various organizations and we are always looking to partner up with as many organizations as we can.”
Over 21 African nations have had the opportunity to discuss all the ways that blockchain technology can help their economy at the African Blockchain Conference. This conference was originally setup with both Crypto Savannah (a Ugandan blockchain platform) and the Blockchain Association of Uganda.
Binance has already partnered up with Crypto Savannah to help with this major transition for the Ugandan economy and even employment rates for young adults. By integrating blockchain and cryptocurrency in this part of the world, they can develop jobs and promote greater investments. Binance will be working closely with this transition, offering training, support for the changes in economic structure, and help with startups in the area. This is a great opportunity of entrepreneurs to get involved in blockchain .
