Binance to Support Tron Mainnet Swap and TRX/USDT Trading Pair Added

Binance to Ease Tron (TRX) Mainnet Token Swap

In an announcement earlier today, Binance cryptocurrency exchange has help ease the process of TRON (TRX) holders changing over from Ethereum based ERC-20 to the Tron mainnet Blockchain. They will eliminate the frustrations some users may feel of trying to handle the token swap themselves.

They will begin by suspending all TRON (TRX) withdrawals starting June 24th, 2018 at 0:00AM (UTC). If you are not wanting to handle the swap yourselves, make sure to move all TRX from wallets or other exchanges to Binance before the Mainnet token swap.

If you forget to move your tokens ahead of time, rest assured, Binance will help you make the transition after mainnet has been launched. It may take 24 to 48 hours after launch for Binance to open up withdrawals.

TRON (TRX) / Tether (USDT) Trading Pair Opens

In the same announcement, the cryptocurrency exchange has added the much desired trading pairs of TRON/Tether or TRX/USDT.

A lot of users in the Reddit and Twitter social communities have been asking Binance when they will be adding this trading pair to help with the swings of daily crypto prices.

The trading pairs were to open today, at 11:30 AM (UTC).

TRX / USDT from Tronix

Prices are down about 5% since yesterday to what most are contributing to the Coinrail Crypto Exchange Hack that broke confidence in the market. Bitcoin is down 6.48% and Ethereum is down just shy of 6%. But this will give TRX users a safe haven to jump from TRX to USDT in the advent they see prices falling further.
