Bit.Game: BlockChain Game Tokens Exchange Foundation?

Bit.Game is a global exchange for blockchain-based gaming tokens. Find out how it works today in our review.

What Is Bit.Game?

Bit.Game describes itself as “the leading global blockchain game tokens exchange.”

The core goal of the platform is to facilitate the trading of blockchain-based gaming tokens. By the end of 2018, Bit.Game hopes to have 100 cryptocurrency pairs available for trading. Today, many blockchain-based games have their own currencies – including Ethereum-based games and their ERC20 tokens. Bit.Game will facilitate trading of these currencies.

The company also provides professional services to blockchain-based games. Want to make a game on the blockchain? Bit.Game can provide professional support.

Finally, Bit.Game will launch a crowdfunding mechanism that allows users to choose which games to support through the platform. Developers, meanwhile, can seek funding for their games through Bit.Game.

Bit.Game sees blockchain-based games as the future of gaming. They see gaming as having progressed through three stages, including:

  • Stage 1: Pay to play
  • Stage 2: Free to play
  • Stage 3: Paid to play

We used to purchase all of our games. Then, games started going the “free to play” route. In the future, we’re starting to see games where you get paid to play – including games that reward users with a cut of advertising revenue, for example.

With that in mind, Bit.Game aims to provide the professional services needed to facilitate that “paid to play” model.

Bit.Game is also introducing its own BGC token.

How Bit.Game BlockChain Game Tokens Exchange Foundation Works

Bit.Game aims to create an exchange for different blockchain-based gaming tokens.

Bit.Game’s ecosystem will also have an investment fund that will invest in different gaming projects. It will act as a game crowdfunding platform: the community will decide which games deserve their support. Then, those games will be funded.

Overall, there’s limited information about Bit.Game available online at this time. The Bit.Game website appears to have just launched. There’s a link to the Bit.Game whitepaper – but it’s not currently working. All we have is a few basic slides of information, some basic team information, and a roadmap.

The Bit.Game Roadmap

The Bit.Game roadmap provides some basic insight into the future of the project. Here are some key goals and events planned:

  • February 2018: A beta version of the Bit.Game platform will be launched online
  • May 2018: BGC will be launched on cryptocurrency exchanges
  • May 2018: Bit.Game will have over 100 pairs available for trading on its platform. A mobile and HTML5 version of the platform will be released.
  • August 2018: The Bit.Game crowdfunding platform will come online.
  • December 2018: Daily trading volume on the exchange will be greater than $50 million USD.
  • June 2019: Bit.Game will begin to support leverage trading.

As of March 2018, the beta platform of Bit.Game does not appear to have launched online – so it’s not clear if they’re planning to stick to the timeline above or not.

Who’s Behind Bit.Game?

Bit.Game is led by Eric Sun (CEO), the former CEO of Plamjoy. He previously worked at Perfect World and French Telecom. We can’t find any additional information about “Plamjoy” or Eric Sun available online. The Bit.Game website doesn’t link to a LinkedIn profile or any other information.

Other listed members of the team include Kelvin Wong (COO) and Henry Liu (CTO). Wong has 10 years of experience in operating global trading platforms and gamine products, while Liu is a senior full stack software engineer who is an expert in developing futures trading systems.

Bit.Game Conclusion

Bit.Game is a cryptocurrency exchange specializing exclusively in gaming cryptocurrencies. Today, a number of blockchain-based games have their own cryptocurrencies. Bit.Game will facilitate trading of these currencies. The platform is scheduled to launch later this year. Before the end of 2018, Bit.Game hopes to feature 100 pairs available for trading.

Overall, there’s limited information about Bit.Game available online at this time. A whitepaper has not yet been published. The team information is vague and doesn’t link to any individual LinkedIn profiles or additional qualifications. A beta platform was supposed to launch in February 2018, but it’s now March and we can’t find any beta platform online.

Nevertheless, you can learn more about the project by visiting online today at Bit.Game.
