Bit90x is a pyramid scheme that promises to double your bitcoin in a short period of time. Find out how this scam works today in our Bit90x review.
What Is Bit90x?
Bit90x, found online at Bit90x.com, advertises itself as an investment opportunity created by “a team of professional market traders and mining experts.” By giving these “experts” a bunch of your money, they’ll double it within just 90 days – guaranteed.
Obviously, we’ve seen plenty of similar scams in the bitcoin community over the past few months. Newbies are flocking to cryptocurrency, and that means there are plenty of targets for scammers, multilevel marketing companies, and Ponzi schemes. Bit90x is similar to all of these scams.
The only difference between Bit90x and other bitcoin scams is that the company doesn’t just promise to double your bitcoin – it actually promises to triple your bitcoin if you take advantage of all their earning opportunities.
Let’s take a closer look at how this scam works.
How Does Bit90x Work?
In 99.9% of cases, if someone tells you they can double or triple your money guaranteed, you’re being scammed. How does Bit90x claim to double your money?
Well, you don’t actually have to do anything to double your money with Bit90x. All you need to do is give money to the company, and your money will automatically be doubled within 80 to 90 days, guaranteed. Here’s how the official website explains this magical moneymaking system:
“If you just sign up for a plan and wait 80 days, your bitcoins will automatically be doubled in our system without you having to do anything.”
Where does your money go? The company never explains where it goes, or what your money does. They vaguely mention things like “putting your money to work for you”. There are also mentions of bitcoin mining, although it doesn’t appear that Bit90x runs any type of legitimate mining operation.
So Bit90x claims to double your bitcoins with no work required. However, you can make even more money by taking advantage of the company’s pyramid scheme, which involves recruiting people to the scam underneath you.
“With the high doubling power of the binary network, you can double your bitcoin in 70, 60, 50, 30 days or even in less time! Show our platform to friends and earn up to 60 BTC per day.”
There’s also a “matrix plus plan” where the company claims you’ll triple your money.
Basically, Bit90x doesn’t have a business model. It’s a pyramid scheme supported by recruitment fees. Like any Ponzi scheme, the company will continue operating until it cannot pay members, at which point the management team disappears with all funds.
Like most pyramid schemes, Bit90x forces you to pay a hefty membership fee to sign up. There are 10 different plans available, ranging from $300 to $100,000+ USD. The more you give the company today, the higher your commissions will be.
All plans except for the initial “HASH-1” plan (priced at 0.07 BTC) guarantee that they’ll double your money in 90 days. The HASH-2 plan is priced at 0.10 BTC (about $350 USD). Plans range all the way up to HASH-10, priced at 30 BTC.
Who’s Running Bit90x?
Like most online scams, the creators of Bit90x refuse to disclose any information about themselves, their location, or their contact info.
All we have is one email address: [email protected]
WHOIS data tells us that the domain was registered on April 17, 2017, with the site going live on July 8 – so the scam is relatively new.
There’s no further information about the company, its founders, or anyone else involved. In case you weren’t already convinced that Bit90x is a scam, this lack of information should be all the confirmation you need.
Obviously, it’s not a good idea to send money to unknown people – especially when you’re dealing with bitcoin.
When somebody claims they can double your money in 90 days with no work required, you can be 100% certain that you’re being scammed. Bit90x is a pyramid scheme, a Ponzi scheme, or whatever else you want to call it. There’s no product being sold here. You’re just giving your money to a company, and then trying to recruit other people to the platform. There’s no evidence you’ll ever receive any money from the company, nor is there any evidence that you can double your money in 90 days. Avoid Bit90x at all costs.
