Bitcoin and Binance Coin (BNB) Accepted in New Luxury Australian Real Estate Property Auction
Bringing cryptocurrency to an entirely new level in mainstream adoption is what investors like to see. These real-life applications make it easier to understand that Bitcoin and all altcoins have a place in the future of the economy. Yesterday, Changpeng Zhao of Binance, which has one of the highest trading volumes of any crypto exchange, tweeted about a new auction being hosted next month, allowing the use of cryptocurrency.

This auction is being planned for April 8th, and the payments can be submitted in both Bitcoin (BTC) and Binance COIN (BNB), which is likely the reason that CZ is promoting the event. On RealEstate.com.au, the company issued a blog post, describing the use of a “borderless payment system” that allows the use of decentralized cryptocurrencies. James Pratt Auctions will be conducting the auction for the property, which is located on 1 Beech Lane in Casuanna, New South Wales (NSW) in Australia.
The residence has plenty of inspiration from Google Architecture, as mentioned in the blog. Some of the features of the property that may entice bidders to include:
- A soccer pitch
- In-ground trampoline
- Gated beach access
- Outdoor shower
- Heated lap pool
Due to the publicity that CZ’s post is receiving on Twitter, the Binance CEO had to clarify that this home does not belong to Binance at all, and Binance is not selling it. Instead, CZ simply noted that he liked the property.
Not a Binance house. I only found out after seeing the link, but like it a lot.

Luckily, the publicity gave an opportunity to Trigon Trading to state that they will be involved in the settlement with NuYen from BTC to Australian dollars (AUD) after the real estate auction commences. One commenter pointed out that the original listing only made it possible to pay in Bitcoin, so the addition of BNB as a payment option is
“interesting.”
