Just six months ago, the launch of Casa Lightning Node, “the easiest way to use Lightning available today,” was announced by Michael Borglin and Thomas Connors of the Lightning Ramp team that aims to bring Lightning Network to the millions.
Casa node is one of the easiest ways to use lightning that comes pre-assembled. This one requires no coding experience as it has an easy plug-and-play setup and is already pre-synced with Bitcoin for fast activation. What’s more, is it allows you to take full control as your Node has no reliance on Casa servers.
Furthermore, it has open and close custom channels with other nodes while having a web-based interface for Node management. Just about a month ago, Casa Node was open-sourced in order to improve the security of customers.
Jack Getting All In
Back in March 2018, Jack had predicted Bitcoin to become the single currency of the Internet. In early-February, Jack yet again touted the merits of an Internet-based decentralized currency in a podcast with Joe Rogan, that Bitcoin has every chance to be.
“Bitcoin is resilient. Bitcoin is principled. Bitcoin is native to internet ideals. And it’s a great brand,” Jack had said.
He further became a favorite among the crypto community when he participated in the Lightning Torch relay. During this time, he further revealed that he is a Bitcoin maximalist as he owns and is interested in the leading cryptocurrency only.
He later appeared in a podcast with Stephen Livera and Lightning Labs’ Elizabeth Stark where he further shared that in the near future Square will integrate Lightning Network in its app.

Recently, Jeremy Welch, the chief executive of Casa recently said that Lightning Network in Square could be a big thing.
“Silicon Valley hasn’t had the best view on Bitcoin overall. So, it would be significant on multiple levels, both in terms of adoption and their reputation and they have cachet with a lot of the bigger financial institutions.”
And now, Jack has taken up to running his own node and going all in, in Bitcoin which is expected to bring further mainstream attention and interest to the flagship cryptocurrency’s way.
