Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Users Gain Benefits from Inclusion on Crypto.com Wallet and Card App
Crypto-backed prepaid debit and credit cards, for everyone, may soon become the conventional way of buying goods and services. Considering that many retailers are yet to fully accept direct payments made using crypto, these cards will certainly come in handy.
But even as the transition is already happening, Crypto.com is already pioneering this with a card dedicated to Bitcoin Cash users. Crypto.com, a crypto payments platform with its headquarters in Hong Kong, announced this significant development, saying that it had finally supported BCH in its card app and wallet.
With this new service, crypto enthusiasts are now free to load BCH into their credit cards and conveniently buy stuff. Buying the coins isn’t a hassle as one could either use an ordinary credit card or bank transfer.
Convenient for Crypto Purchase Enthusiasts
The fact that Crypto.com also issues MCO Visa Cards is a plus to BCH users. They will be free to convert the Bitcoin Cash in their cards to fiat and buy from the over 40 million sellers that accept their Visa Cards across the world.
It isn’t a coincidence that Bitcoin Cash is the latest to get the support of this payment and crypto-oriented platform. It is the 21st cryptocurrency to get the support of Crypto.com, joining a list which also has stablecoins. The list is made up of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Ripple, in addition to TUSD, PAX, Crypto.com’s very-own MCO and CRO tokens and several other little-known coins.
According to the CEO of this payments and crypto getaway, Kris Marszalek, their focus is to offer a comprehensive selection of all the leading cryptocurrencies. They would like to enable customers to use their preferred digital coins and make purchases without worrying about transaction fees and markups.
The Growth Path of Crypto.com Has Been Incredible
Crypto.com isn’t quite as old as other platforms given that it was established in 2016 and later held a successful ICO in May 2017. It later started operating even as it was still in stealth development mode, although it then went by the name Monaco. Today, this payment and card company has grown to employ over 120 people with over 20 digital assets in its portfolio.
This company’s latest move comes after it started shipping their proprietary MCO Visa cards to Singaporean customers. Shipping started in October 2018 and has been ongoing to date, although it had announced that the next region to receive the cards was the US.
Crypto.com had announced that it had partnered with Metropolitan Commercial Bank, New York, and Foris Inc. so that the two ship them. Users can simply order their cards from the app.
