Bitcoin Cash Jesus Roger Ver Shares Insights With Recent BCH Hard Fork And Bitcoin.com Future
Roger Ver Issues His Views On The Recent BCH Hard Fork
Earlier this week, the CEO of Bitcoin.com, Roger Ver, talked about the website in the aftermath of the recent hard fork on the Bitcoin Cash blockchain network.
For the past few months, the Bitcoin Cash hard fork has been a major subject of discussion in the crypto community. Proponents of the opposing factions, Bitcoin ABC and Bitcoin SV, have been arguing that their implementation is better than the other. Roger Ver was among the supporters of Bitcoin Cash ABC.
Eventually, Bitcoin Cash ABC triumphed over Bitcoin Cash SV. Afterwards, Roger Ver posted on his Twitter that BCH transactions were not affected during the hard fork. Likewise, Bitcoin.com was available throughout the blockchain split.
However, it seems that the smooth operability of BCH during the fork was not consistent for all BCH users. In response to Ver’s tweet, J Vaught said that the fork was causing massive losses for several BTC and BCH retail investors. The outraged user blamed Ver and his associates for ‘tearing the market apart.’
Before the hard fork, Ver grabbed attention for claiming that the Bitcoin SV faction was trying to subvert the Bitcoin Cash network. At the same time, he said that ABC had a vision of transforming the Bitcoin Cash blockchain into a platform for cross-border payments. Precisely, Roger stated that the conduct of SV was contrary to their supposed intentions. He was alluding to the claims by SV that they would undermine the BCH network if the hard fork did not implement their proposals.
Craig Wright, the biggest proponent of Bitcoin SV, was particularly confident that his camp would win the hard fork. In fact, he had said that they would crash the network if the results were not in their favor.
