Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Trading Options are Coming to Bittrex And Gemini Soon
Over the course of the past 48 hours, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) has been surging, with the asset’s value appreciating by nearly 30% during the aforementioned timeframe. One of the key facilitators for this upward economic movement has been the news of Gemini and Bittrex, two of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, deciding to add a BCH/USD trading pair to their respective platforms in the near future.
Recently, the above mentioned exchanges hinted at ‘total integrative support’ for the world’s fourth largest cryptocurrency by total market capitalization, with Gemini’s official twitter handle stating that it would soon be introducing BCH support to its platform, a decision which will most likely follow the deployment of it's Litecoin (LTC) trading pair that is slated to be released on October 13.
Soon after the release of the above tweet by Gemini, Bittrex too confirmed the addition of a BCH/USD trading pair to its platform on October 3.
Many market analysts are already expecting a sharp increase in Bitcoin Cash’s value in the coming few weeks, especially since a similar trend was observed with ZCash a few months back, when the privacy alt-coin was listed on Gemini. The move caused the digital asset to explode and spike by over 40% within the span of just a few hours.
Similarly, Bitrrex’s move to add a BCH/USD pair follows the firm’s decision to add a plethora of other altcoins to its service interface. For example, in the recent past, the U.S. based exchange has added USD pairs for a variety of digital currencies including Cardano (ADA), Tron (TRX), Ripple (XRP), Ethereum Classic (ETC) and ZCash (ZEC) to its platform.
While the global crypto markets are still recovering from the recent bear run that gripped the altcoin sector all through August, this latest move by Gemini and Bittrex will undoubtedly help foster fresh investor confidence and usher in a new era of economic growth within this nascent market space. Of course all of this comes on the heels of the Bitmain IPO (and all its controversy) seeing the Bitcoin Cash price rise over $100 in a day.
