Bitcoin, ETH Now Available as Payment Options for Dolder Hotel and Autohaus Kessel in Crypto Valley
Bitcoin and Ethereum are two of the most popular cryptocurrencies, and they have opened a lot of doors for the crypto industry. There are some travel options around the world that allow the use of these crypto assets, and two more just got added to the list – the Dolder hotel and the Autohaus Kessel car dealer.
The five-star hotel can be found in Zurich, the financial hub of Switzerland. While Kessel is spread throughout northern Italy, it also has a presence in Zurich, making this destination an easy place to travel. These two entities will be allowing the use of crypto payments through a smartphone app called Inapay. Inapay was created by Inacta, which happens to also be based in Zurich, though the app is also the recipient of contributions from Bity, a Swiss finance platform.
The launch for this service is not scheduled yet for a few more months, but Dolder and Kessel are making history as the first few adopters. More merchants are expected to be listed with Inapay, but not until later in the year.
Inacta’s head of crypto asset technology and president of industry group Bitcoin Association Switzerland, Lucas Betschart, posted to Twitter in favor of Bitcoin.

"@BitcoinSuisseAG has taken over the long term lease of the marketing presence in the Arrival Gate 1 (Intercontinental) and Arrival Gate 2 (Europe) in Zürich Airport." Pretty cool.https://t.co/SbY8Wr5mqt

The crypto market’s downturn has been having a major impact on how the investors have been behaving with it. The bear market that the industry is presently in the middle of is the longest one of Bitcoin’s history so far, which had led investors to worry more about storing and keeping coins, rather than spending them or investing in other opportunities. This change coincides with bull runs, which normally sees the reverse effect.
As far as implementing Bitcoin for the use of Kessel, there may still be only a small number of consumers that apply their tokens, while Bitcoin hangs around $4,000 and Ethereum holds down a $135 price tag. Since its highest point, Ethereum has seen a 90% drop in value, but this Crypto Valley is still managing to see growth in other ways. In fact, the innovation found in the region has earned it the accolade as the fastest-growing tech hub last year.
The urging for crypto regulations has been a major part of the activities of Crypto Valley. The Swiss parliament decided to include cryptocurrencies in their finance legislation, hoping to eliminate the “gaps” that were found in money laundering and other threats.
Regulations have been helpful in increasing the reach of Bitcoin in the Area. The Amazon.com equivalent in Switzerland, Digitec-Galaxus, chose to add Bitcoin as an available payment option. Bitcoin Suisse, which is a crypto financial services company in Zug, has chosen to handle the advertising lease regarding Bitcoin in the Zurich Airport.
As people come into the airport, they see an advertisement for crypto investment and payment services, among other opportunities. The advertising spot is available at Arrival Gates 1 and 2, which are Intercontinental and Europe, respectively.
