Bitcoin Investor Closes 10,500 BTC (Over $80 Million Worth) Short Position on Bitfinex
Bitcoin (BTC) has experienced an important price increase in the last few days that has attracted the interest of many investors around the world. However, there was a trader that closed a 10,500 BTC short position that he had on the crypto platform Bitfinex. This was worth close to $84 million a few days ago.

It seems that a large trader with a short position of 10,500 BTC had to close it on May 15 after the digital currency surpassed $8,400, the highest price recorded By Bitcoin in the last 8 months.
At the same time, the recognized investor and entrepreneur Alistair Milne, the long and short ratio is currently 60:40. At the same time, he explained that the short position closed could have been “claimed” by the investor.

Bitfinex is one of the largest digital currency exchanges in the market. At the time of writing, the platform handled over $627 million in trading volume and it is the 32nd largest digital asset exchange in the space.
