As shown by a Reddit poster, there is a very quick scene in which Bitcoin news appear on TV. On a joke about its high volatility, the phrases “Bitcoin hits new high” followed by “Bitcoin hits new low” appeared on a TV.
Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse is even better the second time; and in 3D! I was all over the craft and the background gags this time.
Like how that last name is cut off on the screen when you see that character early on, or the Bitcoin headline…#HelloDanger

The whole scene is very quick and it lasts less than a full second. Either the writers are crypto fans joking about the market situation or they are at least aware of the crypto world.
It doesn't matter if the writers tried to criticize Bitcoin in a funny way or just make a cool reference, it’s always great to see awareness high and, even cooler, that it also exists in an alternate universe?
Alternate universe, you ask? That is because the animation is not set in the “official” Marvel reality, which is supposed to be just like ours but in an alternate reality and there are tons of different Spider-Man reuniting in the movie. It may be worth to watch if only to see the Bitcoin reference. This, of course, comes on the news that Ant-Man and the Wasp motive also mentioned cryptocurrencies top coin in Bitcoin as it slowly creeps into the subconscious of viewers worldwide.
