Bitcoin Jesus Roger Ver Sees Own Bitcoin.com Wallet Cross 3.5 Million Downloads
Roger Ver, the CEO of Bitcoin.com and Bitcoin Cash (BCH) supporter has recently confirmed that the Bitcoin.com wallet surpassed 3.5 million downloads. He said that in a video released on YouTube. During this conversation, there were other Bitcoin Cash community members present such as Komugi Yamazaki or Aska. Another participant was the Bitcoin Cash developer Gabriel Cardona, who is behind the Badger Button and also Bitbox.
One of the topics they talked about was the Coins for Clothes, a charitable initiative backed by Bitcoin Cash. The project is being promoted with the help of a Toronto-based charity. At the same time, they have discussed the Bitbacker.io partnership with HonestCash that works as an alternative to Patreon and the massive acceptance spike of the Badger Wallet, among other topics.
There have been 3 million downloads of the Bitcoin.com wallet in different platforms, compared to 3.5 million downloads in the same platform. Ver commented that users can simply create their own wallets logging on to wallet.bitcoin.com. He went on saying that users creating the wallet do not need to provide any identification such as name, email, country or Tax ID number. That means that the wallet remains private for users.
It is also important to mention that the Bitcoin Cash wallet has a function that allows users to re-purchase BCH every single time a user spends BCH from the wallet. This is very positive for incentivizing users to use Bitcoin Cash as a means of payment where it is accepted.
Some users prefer to hold their digital assets rather than use them when they have the opportunity. There are several experts that believe that the price of digital assets is expected to grow in the future.
At the time of writing this article, Bitcoin Cash is the 6th largest digital asset in the market. Each BCH coin can be purchased for $121 and it has a market cap of $2.14 billion.
