Bitcoin Pioneer Charlie Shrem Joins XYO Network Board of Advisors
XYO Network Will Be Advised by Bitcoin Foundation Founder Charlie Shrem
The XYO Network announced that an important and recognized figure in the crypto environment will be joining its Board of Advisors. We are talking about Charlie Shrem, Bitcoin Foundation founder, digital currency trader and founder of Crypto IQ.
Back in 2011, Shrem founded BitInstant, one of the first and largest Bitcoin companies in the world. Later in 2013, he founded the Bitcoin Foundation where he served as its Vice Chairman. Since that moment, he advised more than a dozen digital currency companies and projects.
At the same time, Charlie was an early change-maker for bitcoin, attacking the main problems of the bitcoin network and working to overcome them.
XYO Network Co-Founder Markus Leving said:
“Shrem’s first hand experience with both the actual and perceived limitations of digital currency, followed by rapid innovation to overcome them, is exactly what we need to introduce a new cryptolocation technology on a massive and global scale.”
Shrem has been working very hard in order to bring Bitcoin and virtual currencies to the masses. He was able to partner with MoneyGram so as to allow cash deposits for bitcoin at over 700,000 US locations.
