The BCH Network has recently announced the development of Bitek, a payment process with continuous room for growth. Based on founders, Javier Barrera and Andres Rivera, the decision to produce such a payment processor was to create more awareness and practical use of BCH in Colombian markets.
Bitek, a newly launched payment processor that was created on the BCH network, is a platform in which Colombian merchants can now effectively and easily convert their holdings of BCH into pesos – whenever they choose to. Similar to the BitPay, Bitek provides a series of services including invoicing, merchant-processing and accounting-based to name the least.
In order to ensure that consumers’ that have BCH can make use of their holdings, Bitek has a “community section” on their website, where merchants can inform everyone on whether or not they will be accepting BCH. This clearly depicts Bitek’s goal of promoting real-time use of BCH.
To be part of the Bitek community, merchants simply need to provide the compulsory information that will allow them to successfully receive deposits in both BCH and Colombian Pesos.
Barrera has shared the crucial details regarding the direction that will be taken in order to bring BCH to Colombian markets. This was done at the Satoshi’s Vision Conference, which took place in Tokyo.
The duo not only expressed their increased admiration for BCH but have also suggested it to be far more superior that Bitcoin itself. While more emphasis has been placed on the integration of BCH, the Bitek is also said to be founded as an educational tool that will help the people of Colombia better understand cryptocurrencies.
As for the usefulness of Bitek, Barrera believes that it can help with the accounting aspects, eliminate instability associated with any crypto and stabilize the rate at which the conversions have been made. In particular, the BCH-to-pesos conversion will be equivalent in the same day.
Purportedly, the role this respective payment processor takes on is comparable to others, as it allows merchants to convert all of their funds into pesos. To keep up with Bitek, go to: https://bitek.co
