Bitfinex Infrastructure Maintenance Update for October 4
Bitfinex announced on October 3 that it will be undertaking a planned infrastructure maintenance on October 4. In a blog post, the company informed that the maintenance will take place between 06:00 AM UTC and 18:00 PM UTC. However, the exact timing of the maintenance update will be made public 30 minutes prior to the start of the update.
Bitfinex will be undergoing infrastructure maintenance tomorrow, October 4th, between 06.00 UTC and 18.00 UTC. The exact time will be disclosed 30 minutes prior to the start of the upgrade.

The maintenance will be performed in just 2 hours. During this time, traders would not be able to use the services provided by the company.
During that time, trading and financing market will not be available. The same will happen to withdrawals and deposits. Users will not have the possibility to control, edit or cancel active positions and those users that do not want to be affected should close their positions before the update.
The company explains that they are not able to provide an exact time for the maintenance activities since it is possible to experience DDOS attacks or market manipulation, among other things. However, Bitfinex will be providing all the necessary information for traders to prepare their trading strategies.
