Bitfury Partners To Provide Bitcoin Lightning Payments To More Merchants
In an effort to increase Bitcoin (BTC) payments hinged on the lightning network to traders from Canada, Europe, and the United States, Bitfury has just recently joined forces with Hadepay.
An announcement was made on Monday by Bitfury, that it had created a working fusion of its Peach Merchant application programming interface, with Hadepay’s existing platform.
Platform Integration
This union provides businesses the access to their payments over the lightning network and was also stated that it aims at “improving the efficiency and lowering the costs” of BTC transactions.
HadePay’s involvement serves to convert BTC to other cryptocurrencies “immediately” after payments are made.
Pavel Prikhodko, the lightning network team leader said that
“By bringing the Lightning Network to HadePay’s payment processing platform, we are making it easier for businesses across the United States to accept bitcoin payments.”
Bitfury also declared that every state in the US already carries out BTC transactions via Hadepay.

HadePay’s structure is somewhat a crossbreed, as it is able to process transactions in fiat, blockchain and across other popular payment platforms like Apple Pay and PayPal.
“Bitcoin has always been a good low-cost alternative to fiat payments, but with this integration Bitcoin payments are now equally convenient as our fiat payment processing services, thereby paving the way for mass adoption in commerce”, said HadePay’s CEO Brian Nichols.
The Lightning Network
The lightning network is generally in its testing phases and is likely to pose some risk until further upgrades by its community of developers.
Regardless, the lightning network is an extra layer of improved scalability, that is based on BTC’s blockchain.
Based on the potential of the lightning network, some big industry players such as Jack Dorsey and Reid Hoffman are supporting the tech with an ongoing Lightning Torch experiment.
