Bitmeo is a bitcoin investment scam that promises to double your investment every 24 hours. Find out how this pyramid scheme works today in our review.

What Is Bitmeo?

Bitmeo, found online at, appears to be a bitcoin scam designed to take your money and never return it. Like other bitcoin scams, Bitmeo makes absurd promises about your investment returns. Specifically, Bitmeo claims to double your investment “after just 24 hours” using “a fully automated bitcoin doubler program operating with no human intervention.”

That’s right: the creators of Bitmeo claim to have developed a “bitcoin doubler program” that will magically generate money every 24 hours. They vaguely mention words like “high frequency trading platform”, although the company doesn’t appear to engage in any trading activity with your money. Instead, they just take your money and disappear.

In addition to running an investment scam, the creators of Bitmeo have a type of multilevel marketing system or pyramid scheme implemented into their platform. You can make 50% commissions by referring others to the platform.

How To Use Bitmeo

Bitmeo has a simple interface: the company encourages you to enter your own personal bitcoin wallet into the website. Then, you send money from that address to Bitmeo.

The platform has a minimum investment of 0.01 BTC and a maximum investment of 6 BTC. When you enter the amount of bitcoin you’re sending the company, they encourage you to “send bitcoin amount you want to double.”

As “proof”, Bitmeo features a list of bitcoin wallets along with their deposits and payouts. The website features a wallet address along with the amount they deposited, and then their expected double payment 24 hours later. Doubling your money with Bitmeo is really that simple.

A quick check of the bitcoin addresses on shows that they are, in fact, legitimate wallet addresses viewable with Block Explorer. It’s unclear if Bitmeo is picking wallets at random, or if they just created a bunch of wallets specifically for use with their platform.

Under the Bitmeo FAQs section, one question asks how the company makes money, and the company basically admits that it’s all a pyramid scheme:

“At Bitmeo you don't have to make contracts or pledge your property. There are no lenders and no debtors. Everything is actualy real simple: one participant asks for help — another one helps. All profits are generated by new investments [sic].”

That’s the definition of a pyramid scheme…If a company isn’t generating profits on its own, and relying solely off new investments and memberships, then that’s a straight-up pyramid scheme.

Bitmeo Features

Bitmeo advertises all of the following features:

Automated Payments:

Bitmeo claims that “everything is automated” because they use “fast and reliable VPS cloud hosting so our server can handle everything, so there are no delays in our system.” As mentioned above, there’s no evidence that Bitmeo has any dedicated cloud hosting servers that are generating any type of profits.

Secure & Professional Service:

Bitmeo claims to use DDoS protection, a firewall, and a certified SSL certificate. To their credit, does have a certified SSL certificate – which is something you don’t typically see with bitcoin investment scams.

50% Affiliate Commissions:

You get 50% commissions paid to your wallet after your affiliate makes a deposit. Payments are instantly paid out to your wallet.

Who’s Behind Bitmeo?

Bitmeo, like most pyramid schemes and bitcoin scams, refuses to tell us any information about its management team, founders, or developers online.

The only contact information we have for the company is a single email address: [email protected] The website features links to the Better Business Bureau and “TRUSTe” certification. However, these are just links to the websites: they’re not links to any business profiles.

The only other clue we have about Bitmeo is its WHOIS data. The website was registered to an anonymous individual on August 5, 2017.

Bitmeo Conclusion

Bitmeo is absolutely a scam. The website claims to double your bitcoin in 24 hours – guaranteed. That means you can use this website to become a millionaire in a very short period of time.

Best of all, the program is automated and requires no human intervention. You just sit back and watch your money double before your eyes.

Obviously, all of this information is fake, and all signs point towards Bitmeo simply disappearing with your money after you deposit it. We’ve seen hundreds of similar pyramid schemes and bitcoin scams appear online in recent weeks. Be smarter with your money and avoid Bitmeo at all costs.
