BitPado is a cryptocurrency exchange catered to customers in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. Find out how it works today in our review.
What is BitPado?
BitPado, found online at BitPado.com, is a Dubai-based cryptocurrency exchange in the early stages of development. The launch of the exchange was reported by ArabianBusiness.com on January 23, 2018: http://www.arabianbusiness.com/banking-finance/388210-new-crypto-exchange-to-be-launched-in-dubai.
The exchange was founded by JadoPado founder Omar Kassim. Kassim sold his online marketplace JadoPado last year. Since selling that business, Kassim has also been working on a global real estate management platform called Esanjo. That platform operates on an open-platform blockchain.
While working on Esanjo, Assim realized the infrastructure was not in place, from a regional perspective, to attract users to the new asset class. He compared it to working in the e-commerce space 10 years ago: the opportunities are there, but the infrastructure isn’t quite where it needs to be.
“We’re seeing similar problems in the crypto space right now around understanding and supplier acceptance,” said Kassim in a statement to Arabian Business. “Given previous experiences and network in the region, we thought we could solve those solutions together and bring a new product to the market.”
That new product is purportedly the BitPado cryptocurrency exchange.
