BitUniverse is a bitcoin investment scheme that describes itself as a “progressive bitcoin revenue share system.” Find out what that means today in our BitUniverse review.
What Is BitUniverse?
Found online at BitUniverse.io, BitUniverse is some type of bitcoin investment scam that claims to double your bitcoins guaranteed with no risk, using an automated system.
As proof that the system works, the website is filled with stock images of businesspeople celebrating big returns. There are also images of candlestick charts going up, and pictures of big computers. Overall, BitUniverse has dozens of red flags telling users it’s a bitcoin investment scam and not a legitimate investment opportunity.
BitUniverse claims to be based in Australia, but we could find no evidence that the company has any presence in the country. They’re certainly not registered as a legitimate investment firm.
How Does BitUniverse Work?
BitUniverse claims to offer ROIs of 200% in a very short period of time. How does the company accomplish that? How can BitUniverse make such huge returns – guaranteed – with no risk required on for users?
The website claims that they’ve developed “the first fully automated bitcoin trading system in the cloud.” That system uses a “unique algorithm” to “predict the fluctuations on the market of cryptocurrencies and accordingly adjust our tactic, while simultaneously minimizing the risk.”
That’s all BitUniverse has to say about its investment system. Basically, they claim to have a magical algorithm that consistently generates returns of 200% from the volatile cryptocurrency industry. Instead of keeping that system to themselves, they’ve decided to share it with the world.
In reality, BitUniverse doesn’t seem to have any type of investment system in place. Instead, the company’s income comes exclusively from new memberships. You pay the company a joining fee, and that fee gets funneled to the top of the pyramid. The only way to make money is by referring other people to the scam. You get paid 10% commissions on level 1, 3% on level 2, and 2% on level 3. The remaining fee gets funneled to the top of the pyramid.
Who’s Behind BitUniverse?
Typically, bitcoin scams like BitUniverse refuse to disclose information about their location or management team online. As you may expect, BitUniverse doesn’t have any information about itself online. They only vaguely mention being registered in “the Australia”, but provide no evidence suggesting that they’re a legitimate Australian investment company.
The more money you give the company today, the more money you’ll make. BitUniverse provides guaranteed returns of 125% on deposits of 0.5 BTC. That number rises to 200% ROI on deposits of 10 BTC.
The more you give the company, the higher rank you’ll be. Users can progress through the ranks from Cadet to Commander to Captain to Admiral.
The official name of the company is BitUniverse Pty Ltd. They may be a legitimate registered Australian corporation, but they’re certainly not a legitimate Australian investment firm. Anyone can register an Australian corporation online in seconds – but registering as a legitimate investment firm is more difficult.
Conclusion: Is BitUniverse A Scam?
BitUniverse is an obvious bitcoin investment scam. The company claims to pay you enormous returns with no work required. They claim to have some magical “cloud trading robot” that generates consistent returns of 200%. If anybody did have a trading robot capable of returns like this, they would almost certainly keep it for themselves.
BitUniverse also refuses to tell us any information about itself or its management team – yet expects you to send an enormous amount of money to their company.
Ultimately, for all of these reasons and more, BitUniverse is an obvious bitcoin scam that you should certainly avoid.
