Blockchain-Based Pharmaceutical Company, FarmaTrust’s CEO Titled CEO of the Year
Pharmaceutical tracking system, FarmaTrust has made its CEO, Raja Sharif, “CEO of the Year”. The system was first established in 2017, as an effort to prevent counterfeit drugs from transferring within the pharmaceutical supply chain, while ensuring that the general public is confident in the medications offered. What made FarmaTrust prosper is its joint use of artificial intelligence, blockchain and machine learning to make the entire platform one full of efficiency and accuracy.
Since earning the reputable title, Sharif has expressed immense pride in the successes achieved thus far. In addition, he said that his expertise across diverse cultures and having come across different people was what gave him the edge and necessary skills to run such a project. He also credited the overall FarmaTrust workforce for his success. As per his quote during the Global CEO Excellence Awards:

In addition to eliminating the existence and transfer of counterfeit drugs, FarmaTrust’s targets issues like scalability, proper taxation and auditing of supply chain, and corruption within the industry to name a few.
As for FarmaTrust’s future opportunities, it was shared that an area of interest is that of computerizing “from warehouses, self-driving vans, self-sailing ships and automatic port the government in addition to customs clearance.” Ultimately, initiating what seems like a blockchain integration to completely preserve the necessities within the pharmaceutical sector, while ridding it of possible harm.
