Blockchain.com Bitcoin Wallet Provider Sees Top 25 UK LinkedIn Startup List

Blockchain.com, formerly known as Blockchain.info, has been ranked by LinkedIn in its Top 25 UK-based startup list. In fact, the company was able to rank in the top 10 at the number 9. The list featured 24 other companies from the United Kingdom and financial disruptors were able to reach two of the top 3 positions in the rankings.

LinkedIn has noted that Blockchain.com has benefits like free food and a flexible work environment and that the company has an unlimited holiday policy and a bonus scheme for employees that want to be paid in Bitcoin (BTC).

The company was nowhere to be seen on the list in 2017 but it has grown a lot recently. One reason for this might be because the 2017 list was more focused on fiat-related companies, which included TransferWise, a remittance service, which was ranked at the number 12.

Blockchain.com’s executives have noted that the announcement coincided with a considerable upgrade in the team of the company, which hired more people to boost the company’s team, which currently had 110 people.

The US listing of LinkedIn has also given space for crypto companies like Coinbase, which was in the top 3. Despite the mixed opinions that people have on the industry, Coinbase had a lot of success and it is still strong despite the current bear market.
