EPAM System Inc. joins one of the largest commercial blockchain associations, Blockchain in Transport Alliance (BiTA), to offer customers a platform to create enterprise blockchain solutions and integrate IT ecosystems to external blockchains. BiTA is an association of ‘blockchain projects for enterprise solutions’ that develops and launches blockchain based solutions for the transportation, supply chain management and logistics industries.
EPAM specializes in creation of blockchain solutions from scratch across businesses in a bid to increase transparency, traceability and trust with the customers.
Blockchain Is Just The Start
While a number of organizations tout blockchains as the ultimate solution to every industry, a couple of challenges still hamper the adoption of the technology in everyday business. In order to minimize these problems, EPAM develops solutions for its customers to help them realize the actual use of blockchain in their business.
Jitin Agarwal, VP, Enterprise Products, EPAM, stated,
“At EPAM, we’re working closely with our customers to help them truly understand how they can utilize distributed ledger technology, in combination with our other solution offerings, to increase efficiency and unlock new business models.”
The company has been running since the mid-90s helping customers navigate the treacherous technology world and aims to do the same with the emerging technology. Jitin praised the partnership with BiTA and shared his hopes for the future of EPAM saying the partnership will help clients “realize the real business benefits of blockchain.”
Welcome Aboard!
BiTA’s President, Patrick Duffy welcomed EPAM to the association hoping for a strong partnership between the two companies. He further praised EPAM,
“EPAM’s real-world blockchain expertise will be valuable as the organization moves forward in its development of additional standards for the global transportation marketplace.”
As reported by BEG, BiTA recently added the Canada’s transcontinental railway, Canadian Pacific (CP) in its wide network of companies to integrate blockchain. The partnership is set to streamline the operations in transport and supply chain in the railway firm.
