Blockchain Platform Horizon Labs Raises Twice The Amount In Seed Funding From Liberty City Ventures

The launch of Horizon labs is meant to make blockchain technology accessible to business. Now, the blockchain tech company has announced to received $4 million of seed funding which is twice the amount initially planned.

The Sidechain-As-A-Service Platform

At the moment, Horizon Labs is working on the sidechain-as-a-service platform which will enable businesses to create distributed ledger solutions which are not only fast and secure but also private and scalable.

Basically, the mission is to make blockchains accessible to businesses. The way of doing it is merely by leveraging its robust and privacy-focused public infrastructure with the proprietary sidechain deployment product.

Horizon announced that despite initially aiming to raise about $2 million in seed funding, the number was doubled to $4 million which was from Digital Currency Group, Liberty City Ventures as well as independent investors.

The one thing for sure is that the current market highly requires sidechain-as-a-service products which are effective as well as easy to deploy. Also, it enables private conversations with others, and it aims to provide users with a platform whereby they can publish information privately.

Horizon Doing Everything Possible

Horizon is spearheading the initiative by helping various third-party enterprises to integrate sidechains into their businesses. Moreover, they are working with the design partners in multiple verticals to bring sidechain solutions into the market.

Horizon Labs CEO Robert Viglione said that there's a considerable demand from customers as well as businesses for the custom blockchain solutions which are affordable easy to build. Founder and CEO of Digital Currency Group, Barry Silbert was in full support of the initiative to develop the Horizon platform.
