Blockfolio Introduces Automatic Crypto Asset Portfolio Updating via Exchange Connections

Blockfolio describes itself as the “world’s most popular Bitcoin & cryptocurrency portfolio tracker” and it is 100% free. The platform recently released a new feature that may set it apart from its competitors, such as Delta. The new feature provides users with automatic portfolio updates.

The tracker will be able to link to seven different crypto exchanges, includes Bitfinex, Poloniex, OKEx, Binance, Bittrex, Coinbase Pro, and Coinbase. The platform plans to add more exchanges and additional support features for software wallets and hardware.

The benefit of a crypto platform tracker is that users can continuously view their coin values, even when they are being held on various exchanges. The downside is that for some people, such trackers are difficult to manage as well. When one trades on an exchange, they must copy the details over, including trade price, amount, and fees.

The automatic updating, though possibly challenging to set up, can help users bypass the human error that comes with manual updates. It also providers users with an easier and more efficient way to keep track of their trades.
