What is Blockhive?
Blockhive(HIVE) is a blockchain-based project incubator from Japan, providing an environment for new projects with potential to grow.
The platform incubates projects that have the potential to benefit from blockchain technology, including both in-house and joint projects with its partners. Founded on the vision that blockchain technology has the huge potential to improve people’s lives through innovative business models, services, applications, tools and systems that were unimaginable before, Blockhive is a collaborative platform where each participant can work together and thrive in this digital ecosystem using blockchain.
Blockhive also creates practical and innovative solutions for traditional companies in the form of partnership, helping them unlock new markets and untapped opportunities as part of our ambition to create a win-win outcome and help create a borderless digital society where collaboration brings success for all. It aims to create a digital society through,
- Collaboration – Developing blockchain-based business models and services for companies in different sectors
- Standardization – Creating a standard for fundraising by using blockchain technology
- Digital Identification – Developing a trusting and transparent digital society by utilizing digital identification like e-Residency ID
- Tokenization – Tokenizing and digitalizing properties, assets and money
While Blockhive believes in innovation, it argues that innovation must go hand in hand with regulation. As we expand the way we utilize blockchain technology for companies in various industries, Blockhive seeks to lead the way by working with regulatory authorities and addressing any concerns.
Through its decentralized technology, Blockchain also has the potential to tackle social inequality. With that vision in mind, Blockhive will focus on building products and services that enhance the lives of individuals.
Blockhive works with partners to design their blockchain strategy, and jointly develops projects with them. No fees are charged. Instead, revenue from the projects is shared between Blockhive and its partners.
After seeing how the country has successfully brought blockchain technology into the everyday lives of its citizens through e-government, e-residency, and digital signature as a frontrunner in the race to a paperless society, Blockhive chose Estonia as the home of its project. Recognizing the importance of timing in a rapidly changing environment, Blockhive decided to be in a place where the support and infrastructure needed to encourage innovation are deep-rooted.
Blockhive's team of programmers, engineers, designers, mining experts, and financial specialists has a diverse and multicultural background. They work alongside natural-language-processing scientists through a partnership with Tokyo-based artificial intelligence company, IMAY, as well as the founding team from Agrello, an Estonia-based legal technology startup.
The token distribution event is employing Agrello’s legally binding smart contracts to facilitate all legal elements of the event, including KYC requirements with Agrello ID.
Eesty is a digital smart wallet on the platform that allows users to manage all their digital assets in one place and with ease. Users can hold, send and receive cryptocurrencies, as well as tokens and other digital assets. Users also earn a token, ESTY, by using the wallet app to complete a transaction. The tokens can be used to buy hash power in the mining operation.
Initial Loan Procurement
Blockhive's fundraising utilizes a novel structure, a legally binding digitized loan agreement, called an Initial Loan Procurement (ILP). This is a new loan agreement structure enabling the company to procure loans it needs to expand its ecosystem while allowing creditors to earn interest from the money they have loaned.
Using Future Loan Access Tokens (FLAT), HIVE, creditors can even transfer their loan agreement to others. Tokens will be issued to the Creditors who lend funds to the company. ILP conforms with regulatory frameworks designed to fight fraud and money laundering.

A non-profit project incubator is almost too good to be true. Blockhive is also already working on various joint projects with IMAY, Bullion Japan and e-Best ventures, with plans to discover new opportunities and collaborate with partners outside Japan and Estonia. The decision to secure crowd-funding as a loan provides a risk-free opportunity for investors to support the project.
