What is BlockShow?
BlockShow is an international event franchise for cryptocurrency enthusiasts that takes place several times a year in various cities around the world. The Blockshow team has organized and conducted 2 conferences and 6 meetups all over the globe. Another conference is set to take place in November, 2017 in Singapore, and many more are planned beyond that.
The events feature numerous activities of many kinds, such as startup pitches, panel discussions, workshops, sensational speeches, Q&A’s with experts, showcases of Blockchain-powered solutions, networking parties, and more.
With a thorough focus on a specific, unique theme, BlockShow strives to be the first to unveil Blockchain sensations to its attendees. Dedicating significant resources to securing exclusive announcements for its events, BlockShow is able to carve out a niche audience that values this first-mover advantage.
To promote the use of blockchain and illustrate a new use case, the team of BlockShow have made a decision to tokenize the tickets to their own conference. Having their ticket represented by the token gives the user the power to do anything they want with it. It is possible to hold it indefinitely, sell it to any other user, and, of course, redeem it to attend any of the conferences around the world.
More About the Blockshow Token
BlockShow Token (BST) is an Ethereum-based, tokenized version of a ticket to the BlockShow events. BST grants its owner the right of attendance of any BlockShow event that will ever take place starting with the November conference in Singapore, the grade of the ticket being dependant on the amount of BST tokens. BlockShow token is also tradable with other cryptocurrencies.
BlockShow is also releasing a new wallet app on Google Play for its BST tokens. With over a thousand participants, $200 million was raised by startups at previous BlockShow events. The next Blockshow is in Singapore, followed by various events in Europe, Asia and the Americas throughout 2018.
“We strongly believe BlockShow token becomes popular and grows in value as our events are significantly getting bigger. There were 600 attendees at our latest event in Munich, in September we had five meetups in a row: Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and New Delhi attended by 1,200 people altogether.
We expect more than 1,000 people in Singapore for the big show this year and have tremendous plans for the next two years,” said Addy Creeze, BlockShow CEO.
