BLOCKv Crypto Startup Releases vAtoms as Blockchain-based Digital Objects
BLOCKv Platforms Finally Goes Live
Finally, the much-awaited BLOCKv Platform has been officially launched by BLOCKv, an upcoming crypto startup. This means that the public can now use the platform to create and launch their blockchain projects using a new class for virtual digital objects knows as vAtoms.
During the beta phase of the BLOCKv platform, over 100 developers created projects using vAtoms. Now, according to the BLOCKv team, the platform has become a ‘self-service environment.’ This means that the team does not select the number of developers on BLOCKv. Rather, all developers can register, login and oversee the development of blockchain solutions on their personalized workspace. According to the CTO of BLOCKv, Gunter Thiel, their objective is to enable the development of solutions in the form of non-fungible tokens that provide value to the real world.
Additionally, BLOCKv revealed that over the past few months the amount of vAtoms that have been created and distributed exceeds 1 million. The large numbers are attributed to the equally diverse set of use cases for the vAtoms. This has been beneficial to the BLOCKv team, mainly because it enables them to identify areas that need improvements. Some of the notable creators of vAtoms include the Los Angeles Football Club and Meda, a prominent governmental agency in Mexico.
Besides the launch of the BLOCKv platform, the company also introduced the beta versions for Cycler and Brain. The two are frameworks designed to enhance the operability of the BLOCKv platform. They will be available to selected developers before the end of October. The details of the selection process will also be announced soon.
BLOCKv also announced the availability of open-source SDKs for multiple platforms, including Android, iOS and Web. In addition, the startup introduced a plugin for High Fidelity, an open-source virtual reality platform. The vAtoms progressive web app also received a significant number of new functionalities.
