Bloq Labs Launches New Software for Simplifying Bitocin and Cryptocurrency Mining Farm Setup
Crypto miners looking to set up for the first time may not need to worry anymore as there is a new software that helps them to set up easily. Bloq Labs is launching a software Titan, which is designed to help miners set up and run new mining farms on a global scale.
“CEO and Co-founder of Bloq Labs Ryan Condron said “We’re building an automation layer for farm management. Each install is actively monitoring your network on-boarding devices, securing the devices, optimizing the devices, and then routing the hash power to the most popular point at any moment.”
Titan ensures security and safety of mining farms by not just showing networks of farms in setup but also managing how the farms run and controlling essential components such as the temperature of each machine. Speaking further on the software, Condron said:
“We get granular control over each device so we can really try to overclock based on chip temperatures. We do share auditing so every single share that rolls through the Titan software can see what was accepted by the pool.”
The software solves one of the major problems with mining farms that use public pools that have to trust the pool’s dash for stats, in his opinion. Titan also ensures that miners are rewarded according to how much work they do by monitoring closely to account for what each machine is doing.
The team behind Titan has a higher goal to create what they call the Titan marketplace where miners can sell their idle hash power for others to buy when there is need. Their overall goal is to make mining as easy as possible according to Condron.
Titan works with mining rigs such as AntMiner S9 and S11 and allows users to watch miners remotely from anywhere in the world and make major modifications such as changing root passwords when necessary. The software is expected to launch this summer and the Marketplace to launch in the fall of 2019.
As mining has been a much-debated activity that allegedly destroys the environment through excessive power consumption and wastage, hopefully, Titan will help to control those excesses as it can regulate the farm temperature thus reducing heat emission to the surroundings. The web-based software is still in its public beta phase and can be found here.
