Gemini exchange announces a partnership with a privacy-focused browser, Brave, to integrate a trading widget app on the Brave Nightly version. This provides a simple gateway for users to quickly and safely purchase, sell, and trade cryptocurrencies on the Winklevoss-led exchange.
The official statement on Brave’s blog confirms the browser users will be able to safely and securely interact with cryptocurrency wallets using the new Gemini Trading Widget. Set to go live in the coming weeks on the Brave Browser, Gemini’s widget will become the second crypto exchange to get a personalized widget after Binance crypto exchange.
The Gemini widget is integrated on the “New Tab” page on Brave’s Nightly Version and users can start buying and selling crypto directly starting July 15th. The Gemini Trading Widget or Gemini Card allows users to seamlessly and securely trade cryptocurrencies available on the exchange, view their account balances, and access their deposits directly on the Brave browser platform.
The partnership also allows Brave verified users to custody their assets in the Gemini’s Creators Wallet and receive payment in any Gemini-supported crypto including BAT.
Brave browser is witnessing significant growth, last reporting a total of 15.4 million monthly users which provides a widening market for Gemini exchange. The NYDFS regulated exchange becomes the second exchange to gain its widget on Brave following Binance addition back in May.
